英研發萬用流感疫苗 盼5年內問世

【陳怡妏／綜合報導】英國科學家興奮宣布，全球第1款萬用流感疫苗在小規模人體實驗中繳出漂亮的成績單，未來可望只打1次疫苗就能預防各種流感，學者希望5年內讓疫苗問世。
英國倫敦大學奧斯福教授帶頭研發萬用流感疫苗，主要攻擊病毒內部的M型及NP型抗原，這2種抗原較為穩定，不易發生變異，且存在於所有的A型流感病毒中，只要1針，就能預防全部的A型流感。因實驗效果不錯，上周獲歐盟挹注數百萬歐元研究經費，希望能夠盡快促成疫苗問世。
台大醫院小兒科主治醫師李秉穎昨說，醫學界近年積極研發預防所有流感的萬用疫苗，但因為這種疫苗鎖定的是次要抗原，在人體引起的免疫反應較低，施打劑量要比傳統疫苗多，才能收到預防效果。
