英專家：大眼美麗　但容易近視

【綜合報導】美國女星安潔莉納裘莉（Angelina Jolie）擁有一雙明亮美麗的大眼睛，是許多女性嚮往的「範本」，但英國眼科專家發現，大眼睛的人特別容易有近視。

有近視的人，在看遠處時，平行於視軸的平行光線通過眼球屈光系統的折射，匯聚在視網膜前，不能在視網膜上形成清晰影像，因此無法看清。

專家相信，眼球過大令光線無法聚集在視網膜上。英國越來越人患近視，其中一個可能原因，是他們的眼球大了，當中原因是因為他們逗留室內的時間多了。年輕時少接觸戶外光線，會使眼球變大。專家指出，如果眼睛比正常長了1公厘，已足以讓人易患近視。以往一般認為眼球過大是遺傳導致，但缺乏室外光線是另一可能原因，而且可以在童年糾正。

劍橋大學曾有研究指出，每周多外出1小時，近視風險減2%。他們的調查發現近視兒童每周在戶外的時間，比正常視力或有遠視的人平均少3.7小時。
