5少女泳池畔2級灼傷　元凶竟是萊姆

【綜合報導】美國加州漢佛德(Hanford)5名少女，上月17日(周六)下午在家中院子裡的泳池開派對，當天陽光很大，幾小時後5人手上腳上竟然全都紅腫脫皮，送醫後醫生診斷是二級灼傷，住院二星期後紛紛出院，但醫生叮囑半年內不可以曬太陽。

少女們的母親仔細回想，泳池現場沒有任何可以將5人燒燙到這樣程度的東西，與醫師仔細討論後才發現，造成灼傷的元凶，竟然是萊姆(Lime)。原來泳池旁的院子裡有顆萊姆樹，上面剛好結著果子，少女們採了新鮮的萊姆擠出果汁，噴灑在對方身上，沒想到新鮮、帶有酸性的萊姆汁，造成少女們的皮膚發生「植物性光過敏性皮膚炎」(phytophotodermatitis)，使得她們的皮膚對紫外線極度過敏，在烈日下玩水，一下子就嚴重曬傷。
