海洋研究船老舊 跨不過巴士海峽

在桃園縣舉辦的「東海國際海洋科學研討會」上，學者表示，台灣僅有海研1、2和3號3艘小型研究船，且船齡都超過20、30年；今年雖有新建海研5號研究船甫完成首航，但各項硬體設備尚未建置完成。整體而言，台灣研究船不敷使用。

海洋大學校長張清風表示，台灣是海洋國家，實際上卻完全不重視海洋；也曾喊出「海洋教育」，但從未落實。張校長呼籲教育部成立「全國海洋教育中心」，把各項資源及人才整合起來。
