波特蘭市中心停車場迎來移動支付

【大紀元2013年08月08日訊】（大紀元記者鍾無忌波特蘭編譯報導）波特蘭城市中心停車場公司（City Center Parking ）週二（8月6號）宣佈，未來將逐步在波特蘭市中心地段引進移動支付。

從九月開始，人們不再需要返回到汽車那裏加錢，遠程就可以添加時間，從而避免罰單。在俄勒岡州，城市中心停車場管理著大約33,000個停車位，其中大多數位於波特蘭市中心。其餘的主要在玫瑰體育場附近（Rose Quarter），勞伊德區（Lloyd District）和塞勒姆市（Salem）。

城市中心停車場使用了由總部位於舊金山快速支付公司（QuickPay）開發的一個應用程序，客戶將能夠通過iPhone和Android智能手機找到停車場並付費。黑莓和Windows Phone的用戶能夠使用一個基於瀏覽器的應用程序。該應用程序還設有地圖，顯示接受QuickPay的停車場，費率，甚至還可以預付停車位。

QuickPay發言人麗莎‧維埃拉（Lisa Vieira）說，如果沒有智能手機，也可以通過短信服務。維埃拉說，每一個用戶必須先創建一個帳戶，輸入款項及車輛信息。服務員只需要輸入您的車牌號碼，就能發現你是否已經繳款。如果停車費的時間已經不多了，用戶還能接收到警報，遠程支付更多的時間，而無需返回到他們的車輛。

今年夏天，波特蘭市中心的五個停車場將首先迎來QuickPay服務。如果成功的話，會在年底擴展到該公司的其它地段和車庫。
