不少人喜歡逛網拍，因為那是個可以挖到寶藏的地方，不過在中古車網拍中，要挖到寶的機率比挖到錢坑的機率是高出許多；特別是在國外的老車拍賣，看到特殊的經典車款想出手，一夕之間灑個數十萬美金也是常有的事，日前RM Auctions公布了八月中即將進行拍賣的車款，其中包含了世界上最後一輛1970年 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 Fastback。

電影驚天動地60秒裡面的Ford Mustang "Eleanor"在1973年發表，那1970年 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 Fastback就是他的前代車型；當Carroll Shelby在1969年與Ford終止了合作關係之後，事實上在1970年Shelby是沒有合作量產車的，後來是將1969年份未售出的車款進行細節的改款而成了1970年式，主要改款之處在於保桿變細，以及引擎蓋上兩道賽車塗裝。

所以1970年式Shelby GT350 Fastback是相對的稀少，從序號得知更是該批裡的最後幾輛，而即將拍賣的這輛雖然經歷過三任車主，里程數僅跑了4.32萬公里，並且都在陽光充足的加州，所以底盤無鏽蝕，可能是目前世界上少數幾輛保存如此完好的Shelby GT350 Fastback，厚厚一疊的保修資料讓車籍更完整，當然也讓Shelby GT350 Fastback更值錢。

這輛名車也受到經典Mustang專家Ed Meyer的讚賞，曾經在2006年做過此車輕度復原後表示，這大概是目前世界上保存最完好的 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 Fastback。
