潭美颱風襲來，根據中央災害應變中心統計，潭美已造成1名女子受傷；至於，新竹縣70歲老婦疑遭溪水沖走死亡、新北市機車騎士撞上閘門送醫不治，以及桃園市男性老翁溺死等3起，因為發生當時颱風警報尚未發布，且未成立應變中心，因此不列入這次颱風災情。

道路災情部份，也有4處省道傳出坍方，台2、台4、台7、台8、台9甲、台3、台7甲、台9、台14、台14甲、台16、台18、台20、台21，請做好相關防範措施，並隨時注意公路總局發布警戒資訊。

在預防性撤離方面，目前疏散了1376人，收容安置的也有337人；至於停電方面，截至下午17:40統計顯示，全台曾停電戶數達15865戶，目前仍停電的戶數達9897戶，主要是在屏東地區，目前正在積極搶修中。

台北市部份，包含有15處道路受損、12件路樹倒塌，還有7處道路淹水、6處房屋淹水等，北投地區有大石掉落，陽明山也一度停電，許多狀況已經排除，目前看來災情都不嚴重。
