中鋼廢鐵道 變身休憩綠廊

台鐵中鋼鐵道原屬高雄第二臨港線支線，總長2.5公里，鐵道停用後，土地閒置導致雜草叢生，成為社區環境死角，經市府都發局完成第一期與第二期環境改善後，變身為民眾休憩、運動的生態綠廊。

都發局指出，中鋼鐵道廢棄後遭人占用種菜、停車、違法棄置垃圾，嚴重影響社區環境衛生，經與地主台鐵局協調釋地整理，採納當地居民意見後，已完成沿海一路至大業北路段的舊鐵道環境整理改善。

民眾搭乘捷運到高雄公園或騎乘自行車時可總覽高雄市空中大學、高雄公園及沿途不同綠地景觀。都發局希望未來有效整合鐵道綠廊，提升社區休憩品質。
