「愛侶間諜」開發者 FBI頭號通緝犯

美國聯邦調查局(FBI)最近公布網路罪犯通緝名單，排名第1的是「愛侶間諜」(Lover Spy)程式的開發者梅雷拉(Carlos Enrique Perez-Melara)。

梅雷拉架設1個網站，讓客戶付費後，寄發1封夾藏病毒的電子卡片給他們的伴侶。開啟這個電子卡片，惡意程式就會被下載到收信人的電腦，紀錄他們在電腦上的一舉一動。

梅雷拉被指控製造、發送並推銷攔截軟體，並且違法地攔截電子通訊。

「愛侶間諜」的設計用意是竊取對方的電子資料，並號稱99.9%的電腦用戶無法偵測到這個程式的存在。

梅雷拉在2005年7月被起訴，但始終沒被追捕到案。

負責監督FBI網路部的官員布朗(John Brown)指出，有些狡猾的人知道怎樣在網路上活動，卻不洩漏自己的行蹤。

根據2005年的起訴書，梅雷拉將這套軟體賣給1千名客戶，使將近2千名受害者的電腦遭到感染。那些購買這套間諜軟體的人，也被控非法攔截電子通訊。
