未精煉的棉籽油不含棉籽酚？學者：有可能

【邱俊吉／台北報導】針對大統、富味鄉的棉籽油，即使是未精煉過的原料油，也檢驗不出毒物「棉籽酚」，台灣大學食品科技研究所榮譽教授孫璐西今表示，這些是教科書的說法，其實國外持續在研究、改良棉籽品種，希望能降低其棉籽酚含量，若2家公司進口的棉籽油原料油，是從已改良的棉籽品種壓榨、萃取而來，當然有可能就不含棉籽酚。

孫璐西也坦承，台灣不產棉花，也沒有真正的棉花專家，但既然衛福部無法在棉籽油原料中檢出棉籽酚，應追溯原料油輸出國家的棉籽改良情形，若證實出口國的棉籽也幾乎不含棉籽酚，後續製品便不用再大費周章檢驗。

對於衛福部在立委要求下稽查市面油品、非油品食物的棉籽酚，孫璐西說，若進口原料油僅這2家公司，而這2公司的原料油又沒有問題，再進行大規模的下游稽查，是「浪費時間、浪費錢，也沒有意義。」
