配合金管會祭出4措施，要在3-5年內打造2家本國銀行成為亞洲指標性銀行的目標，台灣金控暨台灣銀行董事長李紀珠18日表示，台銀除已遞件申請在澳洲、柬埔寨、越南等地設立分行，也評估在泰國及印尼設點的可能，同時，在大陸部分，除目前申請設立支行及分行外，103年預算也已列入申設大陸子行計劃。

台銀與台北科技大學合作推出「愛校認同卡」雙卡，李紀珠會後受訪時，也談及亞洲布局。她說，目前台銀海外據點有8處，包含上海、香港、紐約、洛杉磯、東京等主要金融市場，不過，也持續在亞洲擴點，目前除已取得印度辦事處設立許可外，也正申請在澳州、柬埔寨、越南等地申請設立分行，最新是評估在泰國或印尼設點。

在大陸部分，李紀珠也提到，目前除了申請支行及分行外，在編列的103年預算中也已列入在大陸設立子行的計劃。

李紀珠還說，目前台銀國際金融業務分行(OBU)及海外分行獲利佔整體獲利比重已接近4成，她分析，國內獲利占比持續降低，主要是國內利差低，加上台銀角色與其他銀行不同，還肩負政府政策任務，扮演穩定金融角色，因此，不能只以獲利為考量，但未來不管海外或國內獲利希望都能進一步提升。
