【綜合報導】黃維德近年演藝重心都在中國拍戲，他在新作《蓬萊八仙》演八仙中的曹國舅，講述了曹國舅歷經四世輪迴，最終修道成仙的傳奇故事。今天中秋他上微博留言「中秋快樂！趕戲中」看樣子仍忙著在山東拍戲，日前他也在微博貼出每天上戲要化妝變身成曹國舅的「成長的歷程」，照片中他黏眉毛、黏鬍子、戴白髮頭套扮老，最後卻叼一根菸自拍，非常跳Tone。粉絲看完變身照片反應不一，有人誇「堪稱史上最帥的白髮老人」，有人質疑「這真的是曹國舅嗎？明明是張果老啊！」更有人直言造型難看「慘不忍睹」。
