美證實已派出第五艘驅逐艦馳援地中海

【綜合報導】一名美國國防部官員29日透露，美國已增派第五艘驅逐艦「斯托特號」（USS Stout）前往地中海馳援，預料是為了應付美國未來空襲敘利亞的軍事行動。

官員表示，斯托特驅逐艦已抵達地中海，「向東航行」。美國目前已有四艘驅逐艦在同一區域，包括「格萊夫利號」（USS Gravely）、「馬漢號」（USS Mahan）、「巴里號」（USS Barry）、「拉梅奇號」（USS Ramage）。
