Android副總裁巴拉投奔小米

【賴宇萍╱綜合外電報導】中國手機業者勢力興起，連Google高層也選擇投奔其陣營。中國智慧手機商小米今天證實，Google Android部門副總裁巴拉（Hugo Barra）確定於10月初加盟小米，擔任國際業務副總裁，並推動與Android部門的戰略合作。

巴拉曾多次現身Google開發者大會，堪稱是Google對外溝通的靈魂人物。《紐約時報》引述分析師報導，身為科技界知名人物的巴拉選擇轉投小米陣營，凸顯出中國業者未來在重塑全球科技業時扮演的重要角色。

這已是Android部門今年內第2度失去關鍵人物。但Google發言人透過聲明表示，很高興巴拉的新工作仍與Android生態系統有關，並祝他一切順利。
