美破獲非法鬥狗　單場賭金高達6百萬

【綜合報導】美國警方破獲大宗非法鬥狗集團，救出367隻比特鬥牛犬，並逮捕12名嫌犯。獲救的鬥牛犬許多都渾身是傷，看起來營養不良，警方表示這些小狗被綁在輪胎旁，沒有食物也沒有水喝，還被放在炙熱的太陽下長時間曝曬。
 
鬥狗賭博在全美50州都是非法的，不過由於光是一場鬥狗賽，賭注最高可達20萬美金，約是600萬台幣，導致地下鬥狗賭博猖獗，集團人員還會繁殖小狗用來比賽，確保「生財工具」源源不絕。
 
警方表示這次破獲的鬥狗案，還只是冰山一角，全美恐怕還有數千隻小狗面臨同樣遭遇，他們還將繼續追捕，直到全面杜絕非法鬥狗為止。
