新社香菇街拼經濟　締造「香菇奇蹟」

【陳世河／台中報導】一走進中市新社區協中街，撲鼻而來的是一股濃郁菇香，數百公尺長的街上，賣香菇行及香菇特色料理餐廳林立，這裡就是新社著名的「香菇街」，假日至少湧入二千遊客，熱鬧滾滾，當地協成里長李全年表示，「香菇街有菇農和盤商，民眾來到這裡能買到新鮮便宜的香菇，還能吃到最具特色的香菇料理。」

李全年表示，協中街「短短二、三百公尺的香菇街，有十多家賣香菇的店家，香菇特色料理的餐廳也超過十家，賣香菇小吃的攤子更是不計其數，香菇街的經濟收入佔協成里的八成。」台灣香菇發展協會理事長陳宗明表示，新社區香菇經濟產值每年約有十八億元，香菇街貢獻了一半以上。
