【時報-外電報導】梅西百貨（Macy's）表示，該公司在先前的假日購物季中銷售表現強勁，並公布對今年的初步預估，指公司業務成長將繼續優於其他同業。

此外，該公司也宣布將執行削減成本計畫，裁員約2,500名（約1.4％員工），並在今年初春關閉5間業績欠佳的百貨公司，預期每年可節省1億美元費用。

梅西百貨周四收盤大漲7.64%，收於55.80美元。
