美FDA核准糖尿病新藥

（中央社華盛頓2014年1月8日綜合外電報導）美國食品暨藥物管理局（FDA）今天核准必治妥施貴寶公司與阿斯特捷利康製藥生產的糖尿病新藥「Farxiga」，作用是經由排尿降低血糖，此為第2型糖尿病患降血糖的新方式。

據美聯社報導，過去糖尿藥物的作用，是降低從食物攝取與儲存在肝臟的糖份；但日服1次的Farxiga，是透過排尿來降低血糖。

Farxiga是「第二型鈉離子依賴型葡萄糖轉運蛋白」（SGLT2）抑制劑的新型藥物，也是繼嬌生公司（Johnson & Johnsono）的「Invokana」去年3月通過核可後，FDA核准的第2種同類型藥物。

Farxiga最常見的副作用是黴菌感染與尿道感染，可作為獨立用藥或是和其他常見糖尿病治療結合，像是胰島素與降血糖劑metformin。（譯者：中央社陳怡君）
