打擊海盜 歐盟目標：零挾持

（中央社記者曾依璇布魯塞爾24日專電）歐洲聯盟將主導明年打擊索馬利亞海盜的國際活動，目前還有約50人被海盜挾持，歐盟矢言以無人受制為目標。

歐盟對外行動部（EEAS）表示，自2014年元旦起，歐盟將接替美國，擔任一年的索馬利亞海岸海盜行為聯絡小組（CGPCS）主席職位，由歐盟對外行動部副秘書長波波斯基（Maciej Popowski）負責。

歐盟統計，遭海盜挾持的人質數量從2011年的700人降到目前約50人，歐盟目標是要使數字歸零，不讓任何一艘船、任何人落入海盜手裡。

歐盟外交事務及安全政策高級代表艾希頓（Catherine Ashton）說，海盜攻擊事件在過去幾年減少了95%，但這場與海盜對峙的戰爭尚未結束，還須各國共同努力。

索馬利亞海岸海盜行為聯絡小組成立於2009年1月，目的是協調超過60國及組織打擊索馬利亞外海海盜的行動，並分享資訊。1021224
