（中央社台北2013年12月19日電）紐西蘭第3季經濟成長加速至將近4年來最快，提升該國央行明年開始升息機率。

紐西蘭統計局（Statistics New Zealand）今天公布，第3季國內生產毛額（GDP）季增1.4%，第2季修正為成長0.3%。

第3季季增1.4%，為紐西蘭經濟自2009年第4季以來最佳季度表現，也優於彭博社調查經濟家平均估計季增1.1%。

與上年同期相較，紐西蘭第3季經濟年增3.5%，成長幅度為6年來最大。

紐銀總裁惠勒（Graeme Wheeler）上週暗示，他明年將把基準利率由歷來最低點2.5%調高，儘管此舉恐導致不受歡迎的紐元升值出現。（譯者：中央社徐睿承）
