中日龍補強相中曼尼　年薪至少596萬台幣

【鍾裕能／綜合報導】球季結束人事改組，找回前監督落合博滿擔任總經理，並決定由捕手谷繁元信掌兵符的中日龍隊，為補強打線，將目標銷定大聯盟生涯555轟、今年曾加盟義大犀牛的曼尼(Manny Ramirez)身上。
 
中日首席教練森繁為尋找新洋將，已啟程前往多明尼加。森繁和說：「得知曼尼將在冬季聯盟出賽的訊息後，將利用機會好好觀察的狀況，再與球團聯繫，做最後的判斷與決定。」若中日決定錄用，曼尼的年薪可能在2000至3000萬日元(約596~885萬台幣)之間。
 
曼尼今年台灣曾掀起一股熱潮，出賽49場，留下3成52打擊率、8轟、43打點的紀錄。6月離台後返美，和遊騎兵簽小聯盟合約，等待機會重回大聯盟，但表現不佳，未能如願，在8月遭到解約。
