根據國際研究暨顧問機構Gartner發布的預測，聖誕銷售旺季都將圍繞著小尺寸平板，而平板產品將轉移至英特爾的新處理器Bay Trail及Haswell，Windows 8.1平板將開始大量生產。果不其然，近日業者們似乎已開始為年底布局，陸續推出新品。

HP惠普科技30日一口氣推出四款新機，包括兩台螢幕可與鍵盤分離的平板筆電：HP Split 13 x2、HP Pavilion 11 x2，以及兩台高效能觸控筆電：HP ENVY TouchSmart 14、HP ENVY TouchSmart 15。

HP Split 13 x2是13吋觸控平板筆電，外型承襲HP品牌全新PHI黃金比例理念，採用圓弧導角設計。一機雙用，平板螢幕透過磁吸式卡榫易拆卸裝置，與鍵盤基座結合成為筆電，拆卸下來可成為單獨使用的Windows 8平板。

搭載第四代Intel Core i5處理器，4GB記憶體，13.3吋平板採用1366x768 HD高畫質螢幕，內建128GB mSATA3 SSD固態硬碟，鍵盤基座內也有另外一顆500GB 5400rpm傳統硬碟，配備ProtectSmart 3D硬碟防震技術，並支援Beats Audio音效。

HP Split 13 x2建議售價NT$44,900（含）

HP Pavilion 11 x2為11吋平板筆電，鍵盤基座內沒有配備硬碟，處理器也不同，為Intel Pentium N3510 Quad(2.0 GHz, 2MB L2 Cache, DDR3L-1333MHz)，也支援Beats Audio音效。
