今天晚上全台灣民眾可能會睡得不安穩，繼20:02的強震、21:45芮氏規模4.3地震不久後，今(31)晚21時57分11秒又發生芮氏規模4.6地震。

氣象局指出，這起地震震央位置：北緯23.62°東經121.31°、震源深度12.8公里、 芮氏規模4.6 ，相對位置花蓮縣政府西南方52.1公里(位於花蓮縣萬榮鄉)。

各地震度級如下：

花蓮縣地區最大震度3級：紅葉3、光復3、西林3、磯崎2、壽豐2、銅門2、鹽寮2、玉里1、吉安1、花蓮市1。

臺東縣地區最大震度1級：長濱1、利稻1、池上1。

雲林縣地區最大震度1級：斗六市1。

嘉義市地區最大震度1級：嘉義市1。

彰化縣地區最大震度1級：彰化市1。
