【綜合報導】對於敘利亞政府被多國認定使用化學武器攻擊平民，美國國防部表示一切已經準備好，就等總統歐巴馬一聲令下，就會出兵攻打，而根據美國國家廣播公司NBC新聞報導指出，美方可能最快明日出兵攻打，預計攻打時程為3天。

NBC報導指出，美軍可能採取飛彈攻擊，最快將從明日開始攻打，但這次美方的目的主要是讓敘利亞政府「一點顏色瞧瞧」，至於阿塞德政權是否會因此瓦解，目前仍無法評估。
