【許逸民╱澎湖報導】法務部調查局4月間幫鈔票遭焚燬的民眾鑑識救回32萬8千元，日前再度以科學鑑識方法，幫遭蠹蟲吃掉10萬元的民眾救回3萬8千元。雖然未能全數救回，郭姓民眾仍感激說，幸好靠著調查局免費且迅速的服務，鑑定出3萬8千元，至少減少損失了。

澎湖縣調查站主任王仙友表示，全台司法機關中，只有調查局提供免費鑑定服務，且是唯一受中央銀行認可的污（破）損新台幣鈔券鑑定機關。因此，新台幣鈔券若因火燒、水漬、蟲蛀、油漬、塗染等造成污（破）損，切勿再翻動，若鈔券尚清晰可辨，可直接前往台灣銀行各分行辦理兌換；若已難分辨者，則可向各縣市調查處站申請鑑定救回。
