10月1日電價就要調漲了，電電公會理事長郭台強指出，雖然產業界仍希望可以分階段緩漲，但是現在看起來電價調整勢在必行，產業界要有心理準備。

根據台電的規劃，10月1日電價將調漲，民生用電的調漲幅度與範圍會不會縮小？台電發言人李鴻洲在26日表示，台電還是希望按照原本去年12月10日就應該調漲的幅度調整電價。他說，即使10月能按原定計畫調整，預估今年還是會虧損425億元。

媒體報導指出，經濟部與台電為順應民意，有機會將10月電價平均漲幅由原本預定的9.64%，調降約1個百分點，將可使不受影響的住宅用戶由791萬戶再增加至978萬戶，減輕對一般家庭用戶與小商家的負擔，不過，對於這項報導，李鴻洲表示，這是媒體的猜測，沒有辦法評論。

電電公會理事長郭台強指出，適度調整電價是有其必要性，過去因為選舉因素電價凍漲，造成電價偏低的情況可以理解，沒有人喜歡調漲電價，但是目前看來10月電價調整勢在必行。

他表示，如果一下子漲太大一定會對產業造成影響，所以目前分階段緩漲是普遍心態，但是看起來政府並不認同，產業界要有心理準備。
