大陸國家質檢總局通報稱，從紐西蘭第二大乳品公司Westland公司的兩批次乳鐵蛋白中檢出硝酸鹽含量超標，最高超標13倍多，決定暫停進口該公司生產的乳鐵蛋白，其他來自紐西蘭企業的乳鐵蛋白一律要具備硝酸鹽檢測報告。

大陸國家質檢總局通報稱，從紐西蘭第二大乳品公司Westland公司的兩批次乳鐵蛋白中檢出硝酸鹽含量超標，最高超標13倍多，決定暫停進口該公司生產的乳鐵蛋白，其他來自紐西蘭企業的乳鐵蛋白一律要具備硝酸鹽檢測報告。
問題原料由完達山公司自行檢出
根據新京報報導，乳鐵蛋白是嬰幼兒配方奶粉、含乳飲料、調製乳、風味發酵乳中常會用到的一種營養強化劑。此次發現硝酸鹽含量異常，是大陸國內乳業企業完達山乳業股份有限公司從紐西蘭Westland公司的乳鐵蛋白中自行檢出的，隨後第一時間通報給了大陸國家質檢總局。
完達山公司稱，紐西蘭Westland權威第三方檢測機構復檢後，也驗證屬實。完達山介紹，該批乳鐵蛋白共390公斤，已做退貨處理。
據悉，紐西蘭Westland公司是紐西蘭第二大乳製品合作社企業，規模僅次於恆天然。
所有紐西蘭乳鐵蛋白均須檢測硝酸鹽
大陸質檢總局昨(19)日表示，針對乳鐵蛋白硝酸鹽異常情況，與紐西蘭初級產業部通報資訊。經核查確認，涉及的紐西蘭產品中共有390公斤輸往大陸用做乳品生產原料，但均未進入流通、消費環節。
目前質檢總局已要求檢驗檢疫機構封存問題產品，並決定暫停進口紐西蘭Westland公司生產的乳鐵蛋白，要求所有來自紐西蘭其他企業的乳鐵蛋白以及Westland公司的其他乳製品，在進口時必須提供硝酸鹽檢測報告。
今(2013)年以來，紐西蘭乳品業頻頻出現問題，前不久恆天然約38噸濃縮乳清蛋白粉被肉毒桿菌毒素污染。對此，國家質檢總局要求紐西蘭政府，應全面檢查輸華產品生產企業管理體系和產品。
