台大醫院創傷醫學部主任柯文哲21日下午在台大會議中心進行「這個國家瘋了，人民怎麼辦？」演講，演講中他發表對洪案的看法，他認為，「洪仲丘這個案子告訴我說，如果一個社會，講實話需要勇氣，不對的是這個社會。」。

柯文哲又說，「『道德勇氣』這句話是錯的，做道德的事應該是很自然的事，（如果）做道德的事需要勇氣，不對的是這個社會。」講完台下掌聲如雷。

柯文哲說，「我要講喔，這次洪仲丘這個案子，他為什麼被整死？他只是在離營座談起來放砲而已啊，『啊你放砲，乎你死，給你修理』，結果把他修理死了，這個案子下去，將來所有的父母，對他的兒子要去當兵怎麼跟他講？你去當兵『吃乎肥肥裝乎槌槌』，不要講話，『睡得飽飽等乎放假』，這樣就可以了，不是這樣嗎？」

柯文哲說，「洪仲丘這個案子告訴我說，如果一個社會，講實話需要勇氣，不對的是這個社會。」「『道德勇氣』這句話是錯的，做道德的事是很自然的事，為什麼做道德的事需要勇氣，這個是個問題。」
