【王秋燕／綜合外電報導】Dish Network周五宣布放棄競標Sprint Nextel，但未說明放棄競標細節，僅指出5月宣布為此次競標活動將透過賣債籌資26億美元的計劃跟隨取消。Dish Network退出競標，則為日本軟體銀行打開成功競標Sprint Nextel大門。

目前為止，軟體銀行已經獲得美國4大監管機關同意競標Sprint Nextel行動。軟體銀行競標案可望在6月25日Sprint Nextel過關。路透報導，軟體銀行執行長孫正義自估，7月可望收購成功。
