新竹市一名八歲女童睡不著覺，清晨1時許起床，跑到其母在西大路做生意的地方遊玩，因家人生意忙碌，媽媽給她10元投幣玩電動遊樂器，不料女童疑過於頑皮，不慎右手臂卡在遊樂器縫裡，拔不出來，痛得叫媽媽；女童母親發現後通報119，消防隊員趕抵時，只用雙手扳開遊樂器，把女童救出，也不用就醫，令其母哭笑不得，將帶女童帶回家，讓其他家人陪她睡覺。
