Eye-catching InkCase as a focus: Gajah International to showcase 11 award-winning products at Computex 2013

Press release [Tuesday 4 June 2013]

Gajah International Pte Ltd (Gajah) announces its achievement in Computex 2013 Design and Innovation Awards. The Singapore-based company with branch offices in Hong Kong and Shenzhen was incorporated in 2004 and equipped with a world-class design and product team. Gajah has earned the title as one of the front-runners in the Computex D&I contest after receiving a total of 11 awards - including a gold award this year.

Gajah has five core product categories - e-book readers, including the award-winning smartphone case "InkCase"; power banks; tablets; speakers and TV boxes. And Gajah is displaying an array of innovations on handy consumer electronic products with stylish exterior designs at Computex. Visitors' attention will be particularly drawn to the InkCase, a highlight at Gajah's booth during Computex 2013, and other award-winning and creative products.

According to Yong Guan Jer, Gajah CEO, the company is positioned as a total solution provider that engages in the design and development of OEM/ODM consumer electronic products, as well as a comprehensive source for e-content management and delivery system. The unique characteristics of Gajah's products embody creative vision and commitment to quality, and the capabilities to customize online platform such as e-bookstore, mediastore, DRM protection etc.

The fashionable InkCase, in particular, is designated for smartphone users; a pioneer design that has surpassed the typical phone case shield purpose. InkCase allows consumers to express themselves through customizing a phone case according to their own preferences, read their favorite books, and access their frequently used applications easily. InkCase adopts the easy coupling Bluetooth 4.0 technology to transfer data from smartphones, using an e-paper panel on the back that reflects light like any ordinary paper. But the low power consumption brings efficiency and convenience by offering more comfortable visuals and protection to the eyes in long reading. Apart from several user-friendly features, this multi-functional case panel comes with an electronic ink screen on which users can set their own images according to preferences, take pictures, navigate and display info.

Both InkCase modules, BK4038 and BK3501, which have been designed for Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and iPhone 5 users respectively, are displayed amongst Gajah's 11 award-winning products, such as the multimedia player, TB2004, which received a Video Memo Gold Award in 2011, followed by Computex D&I 2013 for a second time. This multimedia player has brought a fresh design concept compared to the typical ring-shaped design, and it can be a part of the décor in a sitting room apart from its entertainment features.

Gajah International booth is located at the TWTC Nangang Exhibition Hall, Level 4, booth # M1001a.

The fashionable iOS and Android compatible InkCase is displayed at Gajah International Booth #M1001a, at Computex 2013
