| 腦癌女童如願玩雪 平靜離世

【綜合報導】美國一名罹患腦癌末期的6歲女童，死前心願是希望自己能在雪地上玩耍一次，慈善團體為了圓她心願，在女童家前的草地上，用人工造雪機鋪設了一個銀白世界。女童了了心願後，星期一(23日)安詳離世，結束短暫的一生。
希金斯(Maddie Higgins)來自德州，2011年12月被醫生證實罹患腦癌末期，當時只有4歲大。年紀小小的希金斯，一共接受了33次電療。但希金斯的病況始終未見好轉，家人決定讓她平靜度過最後的日子。
