奢侈稅將滿2年，據統計國泰房地產指數奢侈稅實施前2009年第4季~2011年第2季，與實施後至今年第1季房價變化發現，全台主要都會區房價均上揚。其中新北市從每坪平均25.32萬元漲至38.15萬元，漲幅高達50.68％，為5都漲幅最大；台北市今年第1季每坪73.26萬元，漲幅20.34％，桃竹地區則漲25.59％，漲幅高於台北市。

北市新屋量少

太平洋房屋行銷部協理林銘傑表示，台北市在都更困難及無大塊素地開發情況下，新屋供給量少，造成價格緩慢上漲；而新北市因重大建設及捷運站開通，帶動周邊房市，房價漲幅大。
