光芒投手科布先發只投4.2局，卻以13次三振在大聯盟史上留名。

4.2局狂飆13K，有可能嗎？今天光芒投手科布 (Alex Cobb)就辦到了！

科布今天成為大聯盟史上第一位在5局內送出13K的投手，儘管4.2局丟掉3分，退場時處於落後，但隊友在第7局灌進4分逆轉，光芒終場以6：3擊敗教士，沒讓科布的紀錄之夜蒙上落敗陰影。

科布今天的表現有如坐雲霄飛車，第一局就被溫納伯 (Will Venable) 和昆汀 (Carlos Quentin)各扛一發陽春砲，第三局再度掉分，開賽就處於0：3落後。
