佛光會熬煮臘八粥 桃縣結緣

（中央社記者邱俊欽桃園2014年1月7日電）佛光會的法師今天將熬煮的臘八粥，送到桃園縣政府與民眾結緣，桃園縣長吳志揚也盼望吃了臘八粥後，大家從心靈中重燃大愛。

國際佛光會表示，為了恭逢「法寶節」，由十多位法師今天凌晨3時起，使用加持過大悲咒的水，熬煮臘八粥，並準備5000多份送到桃園縣政府，希望與縣府同仁及洽公民眾結緣。

桃園縣長吳志揚代為接受，並表示他自己也是佛光會的一員，希望大家吃了臘八粥後，能像佛陀一樣有智慧，並淨化心靈，讓心靈清澈純淨，重燃對社會大愛。

佛光山寶塔寺法師表示，農曆12月8日是釋迦牟尼佛成道日，也是臘八節；佛祖認為修行不能太苦，身體不健康就無法修行，但也不能太快樂，因此要走中道，不苦不樂。

法師們也希望以臘八粥與信眾結緣，體驗佛陀在禪定中開悟的法喜。
