（中央社緬甸仰光2014年1月7日綜合外電報導）緬甸記者追查貪瀆新聞而被判入獄，數十名記者今天罕見地走上第一大城仰光街頭示威，表示反對。

美聯社報導，記者們在仰光街頭高舉布條，抗議「十一日報」（Daily Eleven）記者馬凱恩（Ma Khine）在東部法庭被判3個月徒刑。馬凱恩被控在追查貪瀆新聞時非法侵入、出言侮辱、毀謗中傷，罪名成立。

在緬甸總統登盛領導的改革派政府治下，媒體開始享有新聞自由。登盛廢除大多數的審查制度，允許民間經營報紙，但有部分刊物被控毀謗官司，馬凱恩是登盛政府治下第一名遭判刑入獄的記者。（譯者：中央社鄭詩韻）
