星雲大師獲中正大學頒榮譽博士

【李宗祐／嘉義報導】高齡87歲的佛光山星雲法師，今天獲中正大學頒發名譽博士學位，他並將一生著作贈予中正大學。星雲致辭時表示，一生沒進學校唸書，也不曾拿過畢業證書，能在中正大學拿到第14個榮譽博士學位，成為中正大學的學生之一，感到無上光榮。
 
中正大學表示，星雲大師一生致力於推動教育、文化、關懷全人類及世界和平，因此特頒授名譽博士學位，肯定與感謝大師對國家社會的貢獻。
 
星雲也贈予中正大學「佛光大藏經」、「星雲法語」、「人間佛教叢書」等約2000餘冊著作和佛教研究叢書，希望能對學生的人生觀有正向啟發。
