【王翊亘／綜合報導】帶領統一獅奪下隊史第9座總冠軍的代總教練陳連宏，在喜奪冠軍金盃的同時，也接獲統一球團的喜訊，即刻真除，正式成為統一的總教練。

陳連宏接掌兵符後，帶起統一士氣，從原本下半季戰績不佳的陰影，逆勢奪下半季冠軍，並以橫掃之姿奪下總冠軍，戰功彪炳，也讓統一球團決定讓陳連宏繼續帶兵。
