《自由時報》報導，小宋與凍齡美女前妻GG因個性不合，四度結婚、離婚，2人去年加入新北市「廿一世紀重機旅遊發展協會」，騎重機跑遍全台灣偏鄉育幼院，這對「重機男女」因騎重機、關懷弱勢重燃愛苗，小宋今將在200多名車友見證與重機車隊陪同下，風光娶回美嬌娘，完成2人第五度婚禮。
