假寡婦蜘蛛咬一口　壯漢幾乎截肢

【於慶中／綜合外電報導】去年同時，英國政府一度發出警告，境內最毒的「假寡婦」蜘蛛(False Widow Spider)經過暖夏的大量繁殖，可能大量入侵民宅過冬。當時傳出多起民眾被咬中毒事件，今年似乎又要捲土重來。

39歲室內裝潢師傅惠特摩(Ricki Whitmore)日前在一所學校施工時，不慎擾動了一個假寡婦蜘蛛的巢，大腿上被咬了一口，很快的他的大腿腫到幾乎2倍粗，送醫急救時，醫師被迫必須將他大腿縱切開一條長約30公分的切口，來清除內部的毒液。惠特摩接下來將面對長達六個月的復健，重新學習如何走路。

專家警告，假寡婦蜘蛛在夏季特別溫暖時，會大量繁殖，而時序漸入冬，蜘蛛會往人類居住的屋內遷徙過冬，英國民眾應小心提防。
