澳首都如通過同性婚姻法 聯邦將上訴最院

【大紀元2013年10月10日訊】（大紀元記者何蔚澳洲悉尼編譯報導）澳洲聯邦政府計劃在高等法院對堪培拉首都行政區的同性婚姻立法提出挑戰。

據澳廣報導,澳洲首都行政區的工黨政府預計，在綠黨議員的支持下，其同性婚姻法可望於本月通過立法會立法。如果真如此，澳洲境內的第一部同性婚姻法有可能在今年12月初生效。

首都行政區律政廳長考貝爾（Simon Corbell）在本月10日（週四）的全澳各級律政部廳長會議上，介紹了其同性婚姻法案，並表示在綠黨議員的支持下，其同性婚姻法可望於本月通過首都行政區立法會立法。

聯邦律政部長喬治•布蘭迪斯（George Brandis）在會上表示，如果首都行政區對同性婚姻立法，聯邦政府將就此向高等法院提出上訴。

如果該同性婚姻立法被否定，今後任何同性婚姻的立法都將無效；不過考貝爾表示，首都行政區會用其它的方式認可同性結婚。
