凱瑞呼籲美國會「立即停止爭端」

【林奐成╱綜合外電報導】美國政府關門進入第5天，國務卿凱瑞（John Kerry）今天在印尼峇里島參加APEC會議時受訪，他警告國會應審慎思考政府關門會向全世界釋出負面訊息，呼籲「立即停止爭端」。

美聯社報導，凱瑞說政府關門可能導致美國對以色列等盟國的國防協助受影響，但他也語帶矛盾地強調，美國在全球的經濟、外交與軍事力量不會減弱。他稱，美國政府關門是「暫時的中斷」，但美國會持續負起在全球應盡的責任。
