自小客車窗接水管　警驚覺挽救自殺男

【王煌忠／台中報導】台中市警方今天表示，周三晚間六時許，台中市第五分局東山派出所巡邏行經太原路與建和路口時，發現路旁一輛自小客車窗露出一條水管，且連接到車後排氣管，警員驚覺有異立即下車察看，發現張姓男子﹝四十五歲﹞坐在駕駛座上精神恍惚，車內瀰漫濃厚的酒味，懷疑張男打算自殺。
 
由於張男情緒相當不穩定，不願透露住家地址，警員遂透過M-POLICE電腦查出其身份，將他載回北屯路住處，並通知其父返家照顧，警方調查，張男疑工作壓力過大，喝下高糧酒後計劃引廢氣自殺，警員除安撫張男情緒外，也請張父即早帶他就醫，避免憾事發生。
