【李宗祐／嘉義報導】竹崎鄉50歲朱姓男子今天凌晨駕駛小貨車出門後與家人失聯，家人擔憂朱男有輕生念頭，向警方求援，警方在清晨6時許找到朱男貨車停放在番路鄉觸口村行圓橋旁，聯絡消防局協助搜尋，上午7時許在橋下尋獲朱男，但已頭顱破裂、右腳骨折死亡多時，家屬悲傷不已。
 
家屬表示，朱男是水電行老闆，工作、收入穩定，與妻兒感情融洽，但近月來受失眠所苦，精神恍惚，有輕生念頭，親友積極關心，仍發生不幸。
