空間加大有空調　倫敦地鐵概念車展

【李忠謙／綜合外電報導】從1863年就開始營運的倫敦地鐵可謂不折不扣的「百年老店」，一個半世紀來肩負起倫敦的交通動脈重任。但21世紀的倫敦地鐵該是什麼模樣呢？由西門子公司設計的地鐵概念車10月8日起將在倫敦的皇家維多利亞碼頭展出。

新世代的地鐵概念車Inspiro長得就像倫敦地鐵的暱稱：「Tube」（管子），這種無人駕駛的列車比現有的地鐵列車節能約30%、採用LED照明、全車廂都有空調（倫敦地鐵並非所有列車都有空調），比起舊型列車增加了30%的空間。加大設計的車門，讓尖峰時刻趕著上下班的乘客可以更順暢地移動。

Inspiro目前還沒有正式被倫敦地鐵採用，但西門子的鐵路系統總經理史蒂夫對他們的概念車很信心。他說：「我們擁有能為大城市解決問題的優秀設計，可以幫助乘客改善他們的撘乘經驗。」
