（中央社記者陳朝福高雄28日電）依山傍海的國立中山大學今天上午舉辦「2013泳渡西灣」活動，師生百人「泳」往直前，體驗海洋苦鹹的海水滋味。

「衝啊」；參加泳渡西灣的師生在做完帶動唱的熱身操後，分批邁開大步投入海中，由於西子灣海域上午海象佳，風平浪靜，這批泳士都順利完成800公尺和1500公尺的泳渡挑戰。

一名泳士表示，海泳與游泳池全然不同，海水的推力和拉力很大，但浮力也大，只要放鬆隨著海流律動游，並有魚雷浮標可供暫時休息，完成挑戰不難。

有泳士有備而來，泳帽、水母泳衣、潛水用蛙鏡、呼吸管和魚雷浮標一應俱全，大家一起投入海中為求學生涯留下美好回憶。

為了維護安全，校方邀請水上救生人員協助戒護，除了設置救生浮台，並出動水上摩托車、衝浪板、獨木舟及救生快艇戒護。1020928
