山老鼠趁颱風上山盜伐　仍被警查獲

【劉智維／高雄報導】林務局屏東林管處日前巡山時發現旗山事業區國有林班地內桃花心木疑遭山老鼠盜伐，經六龜分局警方與林務局合作追查後，發現六龜區潘姓、林姓兩名男子涉有重嫌，警方日前前往兩嫌住處查扣已被裁鋸成5段的桃花心木，將2嫌依竊盜罪嫌函送法辦。
 
林務局屏東林管處表示，今年7、8月颱風期間過後，巡山人員發現旗山事業區第56林班2株桃花心木遭人盜伐，經報請警方調閱監視器後發現曾有多次盜伐林木的潘男涉有重嫌，警方並於潘男家中查獲已遭裁鋸的桃花心木，潘、林兩嫌雖矢口否認，但警方仍根據掌握事證將兩人函送法辦。
