【陳俐妏╱台北報導】今年下半年旗艦機種開戰，LG捨棄以往旗艦機款Optimus系列名號，簡化品牌稱號，今日推出最新的旗艦款G2，強調5.2吋窄邊框及創新「後置單鍵(Rear Key)」，LG訂出今年台灣市場30萬支銷量、市佔5%目標，其中8月市佔已達3%。

這次G2更是全球首次設定千萬銷量，台灣每月要達2萬支，挑戰高階市佔率10%目標；LG主管表示，原本今年G2就要採用金屬製程，但仍有通訊因素，未來在指紋辨識及金屬機殼的確是旗艦款考量的要素。
