國際奧會新主席巴哈　曾為奧運金牌選手

【綜合報導】國際奧會第125屆年會10日在選出新任主席巴哈（Thomas Bach）後落幕。中華民國籍的國際奧會執委吳經國與新加坡籍的現任國際奧會副主席黃思綿，在第一輪投票中均獲得6票；在額外投票後，吳經國則以36票輸給黃思綿的56票，無緣晉級第2輪。
 
巴哈在首輪就搶下43票，但並未過半。巴哈在第2輪便拿下過半的49票，順利當選國際奧會第九任主席。現年59歲的巴哈長期擔任奧委會副主席，負責奧委會的法律事務，管理項目委員會和司法委員會等部門，曾獲得兩位前任主席薩馬蘭奇和侯格的賞識，更引人注目的是，巴哈曾是傑出運動員，在1976年代表當時的西德在加拿大蒙特婁奧運會中奪得男子擊劍團體金牌。
