 【綜合報導】英國21歲女大學生湯姆森（Megan Thomason），因為豪飲便宜伏特加酒，結果狂嘔24小時，令喉嚨嚴重受損，須留院近一周，險些賠上性命。

就讀於英國赫爾大學的湯姆森，最近與友人到夜店消遣，因為貪便宜，飲了3杯三份伏特加加可樂，每杯僅售2.89鎊（約135元台幣）。未料翌日醒來不斷反胃嘔吐。

雖然她曾服食止嘔丸，但情況未好轉，隨後24小時不斷嘔吐，送院診治。經診斷後，湯姆森證實出現肺氣腫、喉嚨嚴重灼傷、臉頰和頸部腫脹，隨時有窒息的危險。湯姆森住院6天，期間不得進食。湯姆森因今次的教訓，下定決心戒酒。
